Metropolis of Tomorrow by Hugh Ferriss
In 1986, the Princeton Architectural Press republished this text as a companion to the exhibition Hugh Ferriss: Metropolis, which opened at the Whitney Museum in New York. The exhibit traveled the country before being shown at the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Architectural Association in London.
The book is divided into three richly illustrated sections: Cities of Today, Projected Trends & An Imaginary Metropolis - concluded with an essay by architectural historian and curator Carol Willis.
